231st Army Transportation river boats in Vietnam, 1968

231st Army Reserves Transportation to support  "Operation Game Warden" was called up from Tampa Bay. The Company was a Heavy Boat that was converted in 2 months to a Medium Boat with 19 highly self customized 73'  LCM8, fully armed  (Mike Boats).  They served with honors delivering all sorts of logistics over the 3,000 miles of rivers and canals of the Mekong Delta. Ammo & Beer was the main cargo and the story is now published in 6x9 color print & e-book at Amazon. The story is all about the call-up mission, the men and families.  The Book "Mekong  Delta Yacht Club"     More info here!
